Problem
Students vary widely in how they grasp concepts—some quickly comprehend while others require repeated engagement to understand. This often involves exhaustive searches for supplementary materials, leading to stress and time constraints. Unfortunately, this search doesn't always yield quality resources, adding to the frustration.
In essence,
Accessing educational materials for subjects is an arduous and time-consuming process.
The ratio of relevant, high-quality information to irrelevant data is significantly low.
There's limited assistance available for academic challenges students face.
Research
After analyzing the feedback and identifying the issues, I initiated a solution-oriented brainstorming session. This led me to conduct secondary research through competitive analysis. Based on these findings, I crafted an information architecture (IA) that specifically addressed the identified problems, ensuring they were reflected in the flow.
Opportunities found
Defining Personas
Getting insights from the research methods, I narrowed down the ideal users of these solutions and created personas to represent who they are, as they help inform future decisions
Solution
Keeping the goal in mind, i prioritized key features such as
1. Onboarding students for learning
2. Assistants and assessments programs
3. Better on-platform communication with peers and tutors

Throughout this project learnt some valuable lessons I would hold very close going forward
1. Feedback is very important, it helps you see the solution from users perspective not just your own then adjust your solution accordingly.
2. Documentation is just as important as designing, saves you so much brain power.
